Manajemen Unduh dengan Wget

Bertemu lagi dengan saya. hehehe kali ini saya akan membahas cara medownload dengan wget. wget adalah salah satu utilitas dalam linux untuk mendownload file dari protokol HTTP, HTTPS, dan FTP. Bisa dikata wget ini adalah pengganti IDM windows untuk OS GNU/Linux. Hanya beda nya wget ini berbasis CUI dan manual control. 
 
Biasanya GNU/Linux telah menyediakan aplikasi ini secara otomatis / sudah terinstal ketika kita mengistall OS GNU/Linux. Bagi yang belum ada anda dapat menginstal nya dengan cara :

  1. Download dulu file nya disini.

  1. lalu masuk ke direktori dimana wget itu disimpan, misal wget berada di /home/dwiyan/Download/ maka buka terminal ketik cd /home/dwiyan/Download/

  1. Kemudian ekstrak dengan cara tar -xzvf wget-1.12.tar.gz

  1. Masuk ke direktori hasil ekstrak dengan mengetik cd wget-1.12/

Sebenarnya untuk tahap penginstalan *.tar.gz standar nya seperti diatas. tapi hendak nya anda membaca README atau INSTALL pada file direktori wget-1.12 karena tahap penginstalan terkadang dicantumkan di file tersebut. Untuk yang memiliki koneksi internet anda dapat menginstall nya dengan otomatis melalui repository nya, tergantung pada pemaketan distro nya :

Cara medownload file dengan wget
Cari link download yang akan kita download misal kita telah mendapatkan link nya anggap saja kita akan mengunduh file yang beralamatkan di http://screencasters.heathenx.org/wp-content/videos/ep097.ogv. copy lalu buka terminal :

Jika ingin medonload 2 file maka :

Jika file terlalu besar anda dapat mempause dan meresume nya tergantung compabilty resume pada file yang kita download. cara pause nya, anda tinggal menekan ctrl+c pada keyboard. Untuk meneruskannya dengan cara :

tentunya pada direktori yang sama.
 
Cara mendownload secara rekrusif
Tetapi ingat,dengan menggunakan -r kita tidak dapat mendownload seluruh situs hanya dapat mendownload index dari situs tersebut dan index dari link yang terdapat pada index awal.

Cara mendownload resume otomastis ketika terputus
Opsi ini digunakan agar kita dapat mengulangi (sesuai jumlah yang kita inginkan) download, jika gagal terkoneksi.

Cara download dan meresume halaman web agar terupdate
opsi ini digunakan apabila kita men-download sebuah halaman suatu situs…. dan pada lain hari kita ingin mengupdate halaman situs tersebut, maka dengan perintah -nc halaman situs yang kita download kemaren akan terupdate.dan file yang kemaren akan di-overwrite.

Cara download file dengan ekstensi tertentu
men-download sebuah file dengan ekstensi tertentu. seperti jpeg,jpeg atau gif, Contoh:

Cara download banyak file
Disini saya akan memberikan 2 tips, ya anggap saja untuk belajar. yang satu dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman bash  dan yang satu dengan wget -i.
 
A. Download dengan pemograman bash
Sebenarnya saya pernah memposting ini di kaskus, id saya dw1y4n hehe. disini saya akan bahas kembali langsung saja ya!! hehehe...  pertama kumpulkan dulu link file yang mw di download. ane misalkan :

nah, cara pertama anda harus mengetik dulu, entah mw diterminal apa di text editor biasa. saya contohkan di terminal ya.  Oh iya, itu ada pustaka online dari pa onno w purbo silahkan download.

  2. 2. ketik cat > galuh.sh //tekan enter 
  3.      #!/bin/sh //tekan enter << head bash wajib ada. 
  4.      wget http://belajar.internetsehat.org:82/...y-onno-ind.tar //tekan enter 
  5.      wget http://dlc.sun.com.edgesuite.net/net....1-ml-linux.sh //tekan enter 
  6. 3. Ctrl+c //untuk mengakhiri proses. 
Untuk eksekusinya atau pemanggilannya dengan cara :

  1. tempatkan dan eksekusi program dengan cd. misal nya anda menyimpan files galuh.sh nya di /home/user maka ketik cd ~ lalu untuk eksekusi file nya ketik sh ./downloads.sh tekan enter. ok, anda akan medownload dengan wget dengan pemograman bash. 
 
B. Download dengan wget -i
Pertama anda harus mengumpulkan link yang akan anda download. misalnya anda akan mengunduh file-file video tutorial inkscape. ini saya kasih link nya hehehe.... *saya juga sedang belajar inkscape pengganti corel draw.

tutup jendela gedit dan save.
Untuk pemanggilan nya, anda masuk terminal :
masuk ke direktori dimana galuh.txt berada. misal berada di /home/dwiyan/Downloads maka anda tinggal mengetik

  1. lalu ketik wget -i galuh.txt 
enter deh maka anda mendownload banyak file.
Jika anda ingin berhenti maka anda tinggal menekan ctrl+c dan untuk melanjutkan tinggal masuk ke direktori dimana file galuh.txt berada lalau mengetik
